The MemoTrek website was bootstrapped using Joomla! CMS during company startup in Hong Kong during 2008. Strategic use of SEO in combination with brand building content marketing, Google AdWords and social media marketing lead to amazing results. Within the first 3 months after launch, orders start piling up.
MemoTrek customer support got so busy that I needed to implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution within 6 month to handle the workload. Sales revenues rocketed, and by 2010 MemoTrek featured international customers in more than 50 countries.
Among the fast growing numbers of customers where a large number of global Fortune 500, renown NGOs and popular tech companies. Because of the powerful backend CRM it was possible to manage a large amount of ordering customers using a small but highly dedicated sales team.
During 2013 the Joomla based website was transitioned into a more powerful e-commerce solution based on OpenCart. This enabled further sales automation and direct online ordering by customers using a shopping cart solution with integrated payment functionality.
