Linux Userland is my home, and I’ve been using GNU/Linux for almost all of my work, development and production machines exclusively and since 1998.
Well, except for a short & sinful affair with a sleek Mac OSX laptop during the hot summer months of 2006, that is.
Most of the internet – at least from where I sit – is made of free open source software. All around us are Apache webservers, MySQL databases, WordPress websites, Joomla! portals & e-commerce platforms powered by Linux.
One of the main philosophies of the open source world is “share the wealth”. And that’s just what I’ll be doing here, sharing with you some of my experience, so that you may also benefit from what I have learned along the way.
